Jaeho

University of Virginia
(Online & In-Person)

Bio:

Jaeho graduated with a Bachelor’s in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, focusing on American and East Asian politics. Throughout his educational career, he received a 5/5 on several AP® exams, including BC and Statistics, and placed in the 98th percentile on the SATs. He also recently received his TEFL certification.

He also has six younger brothers and technically began his teaching career in the 4th grade. However, in 2017, he formally began tutoring elementary to high school students in a wide range of subjects, including Math, English, ESL, SSAT, SAT®, and even music. In university, he was the head volunteer for a program teaching English to Korean immigrant children. Oppositely, he also tutored Korean to university students during this time.

With his interactions with hundreds of students and his six younger brothers, Jaeho brings an adaptable style of teaching that not only addresses the students’ needs but also strengthens their confidence. He believes that it is his job not only to teach subjects, but to draw out interest and guide students to further explore more complex concepts within these subjects on their own.

In his free time, Jaeho enjoys playing volleyball, bowling, magic, and solo traveling. Currently, he is looking to apply for a master’s program in Japan and return to America to earn his J.D. later on.
