After graduating from Brown University with a degree in Literary Arts and International Relations, Heather put her writing and Japanese skills to work as a literary translator, publishing short story translations with big-name literary magazines such as The Paris Review, Chicago Review, and Guernica. She is currently completing a Masters in Comparative Literature at Tokyo University.
