Simran

Simran graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. During her time at Brown, she specialized in tutoring calculus courses. Prior to her undergraduate studies, she pursued the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) curriculum and achieved a perfect score of 45/45 (with higher-level courses in math, chemistry, and English).

After university, Simran started her career in management consulting at EY-Parthenon and focused on the telecommunications, media, and digital infrastructure sectors. Later, she moved to Spotify, where she contributed to key podcast and business goals as a data scientist in the podcast domain.

As the daughter of an educator, Simran is passionate about improving education policies and empowering students. She wants to maximize her students’ potential and help them feel confident in their preparation and successful in their outcomes. By enhancing their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, she hopes to make math accessible and enjoyable for all.

Outside of academics, Simran enjoys running, baking, and listening to true crime podcasts.
