Bio:
Rohit is currently pursuing a fully funded Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of Oxford with the D.W. Morphy Graduate Scholarship. He earned a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021 where his passion for renewable energy and storage systems began. Rohit has a track record of success in standardized tests, scoring in the top percentile on the SAT®, SAT® Subject Tests, GRE, and 9 AP® tests. Throughout his four years at Berkeley, Rohit pursued his passion for renewable energy by researching with world-renowned professors, Jeffrey Reimer and Jeffrey Long. Rohit’s impactful work was recognized by UC Berkeley when he was chosen as one of the three recipients of the senior research award, typically given to the top researchers at the school.
He has over 9 years of experience in tutoring high school students across a variety of AP®/IB subjects and the SAT in one-on-one and classroom settings. His students have gone on to achieve top scores while growing in academic confidence.
In his free time, Rohit often enjoys nature by hiking, camping, or skiing.
