Bio:

Heather is a writer, translator, and tutor based in Yokohama, Japan. Her literary translations from Spanish and Japanese have been published in magazines such as Brooklyn Rail, Chicago Review, Conjunctions, and The Paris Review. After majoring in Literary Arts and International Relations at Brown University, she went on to complete the Inter-University Center (IUC) Japanese language program run by Stanford University in Japan. She currently translates subtitles and screenplays for Lapin Inc. while continuing to explore the country by train.
