Recruitment Team Coordinator (Remote / Work-from-home)

The Recruitment Team Coordinator plays a critical role in the successful operation of our global recruitment team, both on the academia and corporate side of our talent acquisition efforts. The Coordinator reports directly to the Recruitment Manager and works closely with all teams at Tokyo Academics to ensure the smooth running of our recruitment-related activities. 

Please note that initially we are looking to hire this individual on a 20-hour per week, part-time basis. Working from a home office / remotely is an option for this role as long as the role holder can mostly overlap with our business hours in Tokyo.

What you will work on:
  • You will be the general point-of-contact for all recruitment (operations) related questions within TA, with particular emphasis on incoming requests from the recruitment and overall management team
  • You will be managing our applicant tracking system and all candidate application related administration, from the very first step of the job creation all the way to the closing of the hiring and onboarding process
  • You will be responsible for follow up with the recruitment team and hiring managers at all stages of the hiring procedure (handling, updating, tracking)
  • You will also be involved in our job postings, managing our Careers page, communication with external vendors
Our ideal candidate:
  • Must have multi-year experience in recruitment administration and operations in an international/multi-country setting
  • Must have CRM and/or Excel proficiency
  • Must be comfortable with multi-tasking and handling incoming requests from many different sources

Work hours:
  • 20hrs/week, flexible schedule
  • Working remotely, but must be available for meetings during business hours (10am-7pm Japan Standard Time)
