Sydney graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017 with two B. A. degrees in Geography and Anthropology. At UC Berkeley, she was invited to join the Northern California Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious academic honor society in the U.S. During her gap year, she worked as a Systems Engineer at Novani, LLC in San Francisco as well as a marketing consultant for the Berkeley School of Law.
In 2020, she earned a Master of Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School, where she wrote a fiction novel for her thesis. Over the years, she has offered private instruction on the SAT reading and writing sections, SAT II Subject Tests, and college application essays. She has also worked closely with students to earn high scores on AP tests. Most recently, Sydney has worked as a Professor of Global Health at the Arizona College of Nursing, a private institution specializing in liberal arts-focused BSN/RN degrees. Her interests span from information technology to education, and she hopes to convey a genuine love for learning to those around her.
Outside of work, Sydney composes music for piano, reads, experiments in the kitchen, and spends time exploring the great outdoors.
