Salony graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology followed by Master of Science as a joint program offered by University of Zurich and ETH Zurich, Switzerland. She received a full-ride scholarship for her Masters’ education in Switzerland, which is offered to only a very small fraction of the student body. In addition, she also received a 3-year research grant offered by the University of Bern, Switzerland to work on the development of vaccines based on virus-like particles.
She has been tutoring high school students and middle school students for 9+ years with great success. She has taught Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, History, English, and Geography in the past.
In her free time, she loves to swim in the freshwater lakes of Switzerland, read a nice book, skate, and hike.
