Niko Manasewitsch is a 4th-year medical student at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. After graduating with his Medical Degree (M.D.), he will complete his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Washington.
In high school, Niko scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, and 9 perfect “5’s” on AP Exams. In college, Niko completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a 4.0 GPA in only 2.5 years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During medical school, Niko was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, eligible to the most distinguished medical students across the country. Niko is passionate about research, and he has published multiple articles on a wide range of topics including COVID-19, radiology, cardiology, and gastroenterology (Pubmed link).
Growing up, Niko spent his summers in Fukui, Japan with his grandmother, and he is fluent in Japanese. He has backpacked in over 20 countries throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. In his free time, Niko enjoys soccer, long-distance running, hiking, reading, and snowboarding.
