Bio:

Micah completed his undergraduate studies at the University of the Philippines, graduating magna cum laude and at the top of his class with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, he worked as a researcher, designing components for a satellite-mounted camera.

His interest in machines and robotics led him to pursue graduate studies in Japan, where he earned a Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences and Design at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. During his studies, he conducted research on the development of assistive robots. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate in the same field, striving to deepen his understanding of how to build robots that can make a meaningful impact on people’s daily lives.

Micah believes in the importance of connecting real-world contexts to learning, fostering a greater desire to acquire knowledge and expand one’s understanding of the world around us. He hopes to instill these values in his students and help inspire them toward greater academic success.

For Micah, maintaining a balance between work and play is essential. In his free time, he enjoys playing football, exercising, and visiting museums, among other hobbies.
