Diego graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Syracuse University, an M.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs, and has completed the first year of a J.D. program at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Diego also has the University of Cambridge’s CELTA certification in English language teaching and holds a Massachusetts teaching license in Political Science/Political Philosophy for grades 5-12.
Diego has worked as an educator for ten years, splitting his time between high school and university teaching. He has helped design and teach a wide breadth of courses in economics, history, civics, political science, and literature, and has audited and taught AP courses. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Diego has provided university admission essay guidance for students who have been admitted to some of the top universities in the United States. Prior to becoming a teacher, Diego worked on political campaigns in New York and California, and was a staff member in the office of U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein in Washington, D.C.
Diego loves reading, gardening, getting out into nature, and spending time with his newborn son. He collects typewriters and fountain pens, and has an interest in watches, technology, and current events.
