College Info Session: UC School Essays

Let’s be honest, if you’re working with TA, chances are at least one of the University of California Schools is on your college list. Unlike other colleges however, the UC system have their own set of essay prompts that target personal qualities and attributes. These prompts don’t just care about who you are as a student, but who you are as a person as well! While it may seem open-ended and free for interpretation, the UC schools are most definitely interested in a specific type response to these questions. Are you ready answer them?
Luckily, admissions expert Tyler Kusunoki, host of The Accepted Podcast, and fellow admissions consultant Harry Hu, are here to help. We’ll be discussing what makes the UC school prompts unique, and review some tips and advice for making your essay responses truly stand out.
The key to success is getting an early start. Most students underestimate the time required to produce an essay of sufficient quality.
