Ali holds two degrees: a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Manchester and a Master of Science in International Public Policy from University College London (UCL). He demonstrated academic excellence by receiving a Distinction for both his undergraduate and graduate dissertations, in addition to being a member of the Manchester University magazine.
His professional journey includes:
- Journalism & Research: Worked as an assistant correspondent and researcher for the Japanese national broadsheet, the Mainichi Shimbun.
- Tutoring Experience: Taught English as a Second Language to adults and supported younger children while working in a Japanese hoikuen.
- Core Specialty: Specializes in English (elementary and middle school), while also helping students foster a deeper understanding of content across a wide range of subjects.
In his free time, Ali enjoys practicing his Japanese, traveling around Japan, and writing and drawing on rainy days.
