“I was 13 when I first got access to a computer. I wrote a program to play tick-tack-toe” said Tech Billionaire Bill Gates and the rest is history.
The ability to code effectively has now joined the traditional ‘3-Rs’ as a basic skill which everyone should have including teenagers and kids. It has the additional advantage of acquiring logical thinking and this valuable trait spills over into many other technological fields in the future.
Here at Tokyo Techies, young students acquire critical 21st-century skills and learn to innovate across multiple themes based on their interests. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to learn how to code and that this learning should be encouraged through clubs, camps, and knowledge-rich curriculum regardless of age.
